The beginning of the day, instructors taught how to properly operatethe outriggers and jack systems on the 3 trucks, which were inattendance, followed by a excellent meal cooked by GFD members whovolunteered to help out the throughout the day. The afternoon studentsclimbed and operated all the aerial devices, learning the differencebetween the aerial manufactures on hand. At the end of the daystudents conducted a mock scenario utilizing Truck 29’s platform as aimprovised stand pipe system for a roof-top fire, along with followingsome water through Truck 29’s master stream which was supplied by FortHunter’s ETA 34.
